I usually recommend engaging English reality shows， which are close to daily life, to my mandarin speaking friends. Chances are high that they feel hard to watch through.
部分原因是语言障碍， 部分原因是缺乏对节目中各种场合的“社会性”理解，节目本该有的新奇与兴奋迅速变成乏味枯燥， 甚至是对意志力的消耗。
Partially it is because of language barriers and partially, lacking in the understanding of social dynamics in the shows, which turn novelty and excitement into boredom and even consumption of willpower.
